Mezcal Environmental Education Center
Agua del Espino, Oaxaca, MexicoEl Perdido consists of a network of garden spaces that knit together a complex of seven homes, a small chapel, and a restaurent in the coastal desert of Baja California Sur. The garden utilizes a planting palette of only endemic species, rejecting the importation of tropical palms that defines the designed landscapes of the region. A network of floating concrete paths synchronize the experience and elevate the sense of connection to the landscape when you steps down into the garden. El Perdido is under construction with a Spring 2019 opening date.
